I GET AN ASSISTANT TOMORROW!
Marie Enoze Sulfrain, pictured above is going to be my part time assistant in the kitchen program that I manage along with the garden! Marie came to the US as a refugee from Haiti after the 2010 earthquake and settled in Jupiter. She became a registered worker, but because of her age she has had a hard time finding day labor work. I’m so happy El Sol was able to offer her part time employment, and that we were able to hook it up as a win-win so I’m not drowning in my double-duties anymore!
Fun fact, Marie always is saying “everything good”. Her positive attitude and perseverance are beautiful. I can’t wait to get to know her better :)
